Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit, but kids should be at least 4 years old to enjoy the ride comfortably. They do provide booster seats if needed, which is great for younger ones. Just check with NAVTEC in advance if you have specific concerns about your group’s ages.
A: Dress in layers! Mornings can be chilly, and it warms up by noon. Sturdy shoes are a must since you’ll be hiking around and exploring. Also, sunglasses and a hat are good for sun protection. Don't forget to bring a reusable water bottle for that ice-cold water!
A: If the weather looks really bad, NAVTEC will work with you to reschedule. They’re usually pretty flexible, so it’s best to call them directly to discuss options. Just keep an eye on the forecast leading up to your tour date!

Just did the Arches & Canyonlands tour and wow!
I went on the full-day 4X4 combo tour last weekend and it was amazing! The Shafer Trail was breathtaking, and our guide was super knowledgeable about the area. The picnic lunch was really nice too; we had sandwiches and plenty of ice-cold water. Totally worth it for the views! Anyone thinking of gifting this? Go for it!
Questions about the 4X4 tour experience
I’m thinking of booking this for my boyfriend’s birthday. He loves the outdoors, but I’m not sure if he's ready for the rugged 4X4 adventure. How difficult is the ride? Should I be worried about his comfort level?
