Q&A
A: I went in early September and it was perfect. The weather was mild, and the crowds were smaller than summer. Spring's nice too, but just check for any ceremonies that might close the amphitheater. Wear comfy shoes since there’s a lot of walking!
A: No age limit! Kids are welcome, but I'd recommend it for ages 10 and up for better understanding. Just keep in mind that it's a walking tour, so they should be able to handle some walking. Bring water and snacks, especially if they tend to get restless!
A: Parking is limited! There’s a garage nearby, but it can fill up quick. I suggest taking the Metro to the Arlington Cemetery station. It’s just a short walk from there and way less stressful than finding a spot.

Just did the Arlington Cemetery tour and it was incredible!
I took the 2-hour walking tour last week and it was so moving. Starting at JFK's gravesite and seeing the Eternal Flame was surreal. The Changing of the Guard is something everyone should witness at least once. Our guide was super knowledgeable and shared lots of little-known facts. Just remember to wear comfy shoes because you'll be on your feet a lot! Highly recommend this as a gift for history lovers.
Considering this tour for my parents' anniversary
Looking for ideas for my parents, and I think this Arlington Cemetery tour would be perfect. They love history and would appreciate the solemnity of the place. Can anyone recommend if it’s good for older adults? They walk a bit slower, so I want to make sure it won't be too much for them.
