Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids to join this walking tour?

A: There isn't a strict age limit, but it's recommended for children 8 and up to really appreciate the history and stories shared. Younger kids might get bored, especially with the walking and the solemn nature of the cemetery. If you think your child can handle the pace and the emotional weight, go for it!

Q: Can we reschedule if the weather is bad?

A: Yes, you can reschedule for another date if the weather is bad. The provider usually allows you to pick a new date with no extra fees as long as you give them notice. Just check the cancellation policy when you book!

Q: What should we wear for the walking tour? Any tips?

A: Comfortable shoes are a must since you'll be walking a lot! Dress in layers, as it can get chilly or warm depending on the time of year. Also, remember this is a cemetery, so it's best to dress respectfully. A nice casual outfit works well!

Thinking of gifting the Arlington Cemetery tour—any tips?

Hey everyone! I’m considering getting my dad a private half-day walking tour of Arlington National Cemetery for his birthday. He’s into history and loves the military stuff. Has anyone done this tour? What were your thoughts on the guide and the overall experience? Any must-see spots I should highlight when I gift this?

I went on the half-day tour last weekend, and it was incredible! The stories about the servicewomen at the Women in Military Service for America Memorial were so powerful. Also, seeing the Changing of the Guard was breathtaking. Highly recommend if you're looking for a meaningful experience!
