Q&A
A: Great question! The Q Train Tour is family-friendly, so kids are definitely welcome. Just keep in mind that younger kids might get tired during the longer parts of the tour, especially when you're hopping between neighborhoods. It's a good idea to have some snacks and maybe a stroller for little ones.
A: Yes, there’s quite a bit of walking during the tour, so I'd recommend wearing comfortable shoes. You’ll be walking through various neighborhoods, including Brooklyn Heights and Coney Island, so layers are smart too - it can get windy along the boardwalk! And definitely check the weather before you go.
A: If it rains, the tour usually goes on unless there's severe weather. The Q Train is pretty weatherproof! Just check in with the provider beforehand. They might adjust the itinerary a bit to keep you out of the rain, but you’ll still get a great experience.

Thinking about gifting the Q Train Tour for my friend’s birthday!
I’m considering the Q Train Tour in Brooklyn as a gift for my best friend. She loves exploring and hasn't really gotten to know Brooklyn yet. The idea of hopping on the Q and checking out all the neighborhoods sounds fun! Has anyone done this? What was your favorite part? Is it good for a first-time visitor?
Just got back from the Q Train Tour – WOW!
I just did the Q Train Tour, and I can’t recommend it enough! We started in Brooklyn Heights and made our way to Coney Island. The guide was super knowledgeable and shared so many cool stories. The boardwalk was a highlight for me! Just be prepared for some walking - I was exhausted by the end, but it was SO worth it! Can’t wait to gift this to my sister!
