Q&A
A: There isn't a strict minimum age, but the tour is more suitable for older kids and adults who can handle walking a couple of hours. If you’re planning to bring younger kids, just keep in mind that the pace might not be super fast-paced, but it can still be enjoyable for them.
A: Definitely go for casual, comfy clothes and shoes! You’ll be walking a lot, especially in Mill Creek Park and the museum. Also, check the weather beforehand because it can get chilly or hot depending on the season.
A: If the weather looks sketchy, it’s best to contact the provider ahead of time. They usually have a good cancellation policy and can help you reschedule. Just be sure to check their terms when booking.

Just got back from the Art, Nature & Legacy tour in KC!
I took my family on the private walking tour last weekend, and WOW! Starting at Mill Creek Park was so peaceful. Then we went to The Nelson-Atkins, which was mind-blowing! The art collection is incredible, and our guide was super knowledgeable. Finishing at Kauffman Legacy Park was the cherry on top with those beautiful gardens. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a unique day out in Kansas City!
Considering the walking tour for a birthday gift!
I’m thinking about getting this walking tour as a gift for my sister’s birthday. She loves art and nature! But I’m a little concerned about the walking part since she’s not super into long walks. Is it manageable for someone who's not a big walker?
