Q&A

Q: How physically demanding is the Off the Beaten Path Tour? I’m a bit out of shape but want to get my partner something fun.

A: The tour is designed for those with moderate fitness levels. It covers about 1.5 miles with some minor elevation changes, but most of it is on paved paths. If you can handle a casual walk and deal with a few uneven spots, you should be fine! Just wear comfy shoes and stay hydrated.

Q: What should we wear for the Aspen Off the Beaten Path Tour? Is it all outdoors?

A: Definitely dress for the outdoors! Comfy shoes are a must since some parts are uneven. Layers are smart too, as Aspen’s weather can change fast. A light jacket and sunscreen are good ideas! It’s mostly outdoors, so be ready for sunshine or the occasional breeze.

Q: Can we reschedule if the weather is bad? I want to make sure this is a gift that can happen regardless!

A: Yes, you can reschedule if the weather’s not cooperating. The tour operates only during the summer, so if it has to be canceled, they’ll help you find another day that works. You might want to check their policy directly when booking to be safe!

Just did the Off the Beaten Path Tour, and it was amazing!

I took my sister on the Off the Beaten Path Tour in Aspen last weekend, and it was such a great experience! The guide shared so much history about the Victorian homes and the scenery along the Roaring Fork River was stunning. We walked about 1.5 miles at a relaxed pace, which was perfect for us. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for a fun, educational outdoor activity!

Considering getting the Off the Beaten Path Tour as a gift!

I’m thinking about gifting the Off the Beaten Path Tour to my boyfriend for his birthday. He loves history and being outdoors. Does anyone know if it’s worth it? I’ve heard mixed reviews about guided tours before.
