Q&A
A: Parking can be a bit tricky in Downtown Houston, but there are several parking lots nearby, like the one on Preston St. It’s about a 5-10 minute walk to Market Square Park. Also, check for any events on weekends as they may impact availability. Just plan to arrive a bit early to secure a spot!
A: Yes! The tour is definitely family-friendly, and kids will love the variety of food options. Just keep in mind that some dishes might be more adventurous for their taste buds, but there’s enough variety to keep everyone happy. Also, make sure to let the tour guide know if they have any allergies!
A: Spring and fall are fantastic for this tour because the weather is mild and pleasant. If you go during summer, be prepared for the heat, but luckily most stops are air-conditioned! They’ll keep you cool while you enjoy some delicious food. Just check the forecast before you go!

Just did the Astroville Food Tour—SO worth it!
I took the Astroville Private Food Tour last weekend, and OMG, it was amazing! Starting at Historic Market Square Park was cool, and we got to try foods from all over, including some insane Mexican tacos and a decadent Italian dessert. The tunnel system was a unique surprise! My friends and I had a blast, and our guide was super knowledgeable about the city’s history. Highly recommend this for a fun day in Houston!
Considering the Astroville Food Tour as a gift—thoughts?
I’m thinking about getting the Astroville Food Tour for my sister’s birthday. She loves food and exploring! I’m just a little worried about food allergies since she has a shellfish allergy. Has anyone had issues with this? I want it to be a great experience for her!
