Q&A

Q: Are there any age limits for the Atlanta Historical Homes Tour?

A: There's no specific age limit for the Atlanta Historical Homes Tour! It's family-friendly, so kids can definitely join in on the fun. Just keep in mind that some of the content might be better suited for older kids or teens who can appreciate the history. If you're bringing younger kids, be prepared to keep them engaged during the stops.

Q: How does the lunch stop work? Is it easy to find a place to eat?

A: The lunch stop is at the Swan Coach House, which is a lovely place! You’ll have a nice variety of Southern dishes to choose from, but remember that the cost isn’t included in the tour price. It's pretty popular, so I’d recommend making a reservation if you can, especially during the weekend.

Q: What should we wear for the tour? Is there a lot of walking?

A: Comfort is key for this tour! You’ll be getting out of the vehicle and walking around some of the sites, so wear comfy shoes. I'd recommend checking the weather too, since it can get hot in Atlanta. Dress in layers if you're going in the fall or spring, as it can change quickly!

Thinking about gifting the Atlanta Historical Homes Tour!

I’m considering getting this tour for my parents’ anniversary. They love history and this seems perfect with the Governor's mansion and the Swan House. I'm curious about the lunch situation though. How much should I expect to spend on food? Also, are there any good photo ops?
