Q&A
A: There isn't a strict minimum age, but it's best suited for teens and adults. Kids may enjoy it if they're into history but might get bored with the details. Just keep in mind the content might not be as engaging for younger children since some topics can be heavy.
A: Dress comfortably! It's mostly outdoors but you do go into buildings too. I’d recommend wearing layers since it can get hot during the day and cooler in the evening. Sneakers are perfect since you’ll be walking on some uneven paths.
A: If it rains, they usually reschedule for another day. Just make sure to check the weather beforehand! You can always reach out directly to the tour provider to confirm their cancellation policy — they’re super responsive. I’ve had to reschedule once and it was super easy!

Thinking of gifting the Atlanta Plantation tour! Any tips?
I’m considering this experience for my parents’ anniversary. They love history and food, and a southern dinner sounds perfect! Has anyone done this tour? How was the food? And how long does the tour usually last? Any tips on making it extra special would be awesome!
Just did the Atlanta Plantation tour – Here’s my experience!
I went on the plantation tour last weekend and it was fantastic! The guide was so knowledgeable about the history, and the sites were stunning. We took a great walk around Roswell and finished with a delicious southern dinner! I can’t recommend this enough. If you're thinking about it for a gift, go for it!
