Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit for attending the show, but keep in mind that FENCES deals with some heavy themes and adult language. It might not be suitable for younger kids. I’d say it's definitely geared towards older teens and adults who can appreciate the story's depth.
A: You can go casual, but I’d recommend smart casual attire since it’s a theater setting. No need to go super formal, but maybe leave the flip-flops at home. Some people dress up a bit to make it a special night out!
A: The theater is located in the mall, so parking in the Regal Theater parking structure is really convenient and validated! You shouldn’t have trouble finding a spot. Just get there a bit early to grab a good seat and enjoy some of Joyce's Famous Goodies during intermission!

Has anyone seen FENCES in Honolulu? How was the experience?
I just got back from seeing August Wilson's FENCES, and wow, what a powerful performance! The intimate setting really brought the story to life. The theater had such a nice vibe, and the staff were super friendly. Plus, I couldn’t resist grabbing some of Joyce’s brownies during intermission. Anyone else had a chance to see it yet?
Thinking of gifting tickets to FENCES - Any tips?
I’m considering buying tickets for my parents to see August Wilson's FENCES. They've never been to a show like this and I want to make it special. Any suggestions on how to make it a memorable night? Should I include snacks or maybe a little note about the play?
