Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the glass bottom kayak tour?

A: Yes, there is an age limit. Kids need to be at least 8 years old to participate. Also, anyone under 18 should be accompanied by an adult. It's a great bonding experience!

Q: What should we wear for this tour? Are there any restrictions?

A: Dress comfortably! Quick-dry clothing is best since you might get splashed. Water shoes or sandals are recommended too. No jeans or heavy fabrics, they're not great when wet.

Q: I heard the views are amazing! How clear are the kayaks? Can you see fish?

A: The clear kayaks really offer an awesome view. You can see fish and the riverbed clearly, especially in the shallower areas. It’s mesmerizing! Bring a camera for some cool shots.

Thinking of gifting the Austin Glass Bottom Kayak Tour!

I’m considering this for my brother's birthday. He loves the outdoors and kayaking. The idea of learning from an Olympian while floating down the San Marcos River sounds epic! Do they provide everything we need, like life jackets? Is the price really $0? Seems too good to be true!

Just did the glass bottom kayak tour – it was amazing!

I went on the tour last weekend, and it was one of the coolest experiences ever! Floating down the river with the clear kayaks was surreal. Our guide was an Olympian who shared so many tips! Definitely wear quick-dry clothes as I got splashed a bit. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a fun weekend activity!
