Q&A
A: The tour is family-friendly, so kids are welcome! There's no strict age limit, but it's recommended for kids ages 10 and up since they'll enjoy the walking and historical bits more. Just keep in mind that the tour involves a fair amount of walking, so younger kids may tire out quickly.
A: If there's bad weather, the tour might be rescheduled. They usually notify you via email or phone a day in advance if there’s a chance of cancellation. So it's good to check the forecast and make sure you have your contact info up-to-date!
A: You typically spend around 10-15 minutes at each location, which is just enough to soak in the sights and hear some cool stories. The Ladybird Lake Trail and Rainey Street have a bit more time for exploration, often about 30 minutes, so you can grab a snack or take pictures!

Just did Austin's Afternoon Stroll and it was amazing!
So I recently took the Austin's Afternoon Stroll tour, and I can't recommend it enough! We got to explore the Driskill Hotel, which was breathtaking, and visiting the Tito's shop was a fun surprise. The guides were super knowledgeable and really made it feel personal. The stroll by Ladybird Lake was so peaceful! I'd say it was perfect for anyone who wants to see the city from a local's perspective.
Thinking of gifting the Afternoon Stroll tour!
I'm considering getting the Austin's Afternoon Stroll for my sister's birthday. She loves history and walking but I'm worried about how tiring it might be. Is it a leisurely pace? And how’s the vibe with the group?
