Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for axe throwing in Rochester?

A: Yes, there is usually an age requirement for axe throwing. At Bad Axe Throwing in Rochester, participants must be at least 14 years old to throw axes. If you're bringing a younger crowd, they can still tag along, but they won't be able to participate. It's a great way to get some family bonding time in, just keep this in mind!

Q: What do you wear to an axe throwing session? Any recommendations?

A: You’ll want to wear something comfortable and that you don’t mind getting a little rough with. Closed-toe shoes are a must for safety, and I’d suggest jeans or pants that allow for movement. Avoid loose clothing as it could get caught when you're swinging your axe!

Q: Can you reschedule if something comes up? What’s their policy?

A: Yes, you can reschedule! Bad Axe Throwing allows you to change your booking with at least 48 hours' notice. Just make sure to call or email them directly, and they’ll help you out. Keep in mind that if your time slot is popular, you might want to reschedule sooner rather than later!

Thinking about gifting axe throwing lessons! Any tips?

I'm really considering gifting an axe throwing experience at Bad Axe Throwing in Rochester for my boyfriend’s birthday. He's never done it, but loves trying new things! I heard it’s really fun and they have great coaches. What do you guys think? Is there anything I should know before booking?

Had a blast at Bad Axe Throwing!

Just got back from an axe throwing session in Rochester and wow, what a fun experience! Our coach was super chill and taught us some neat trick shots. The atmosphere was lively, and I even managed to nail a bullseye! Highly recommend it for anyone looking to try something different. Thinking of going back with friends next time!
