Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the axe throwing experience?

A: Yes, participants must be at least 13 years old to throw axes at Urban Axe Throwing in Pittsboro. If you're bringing a minor, they need to be accompanied by an adult. It’s a great activity for teens and adults alike, just make sure they can handle the axes safely!

Q: What should I wear for the axe throwing session?

A: Wear something comfortable and be ready to move! Closed-toe shoes are a must since you’ll be throwing and standing on the axe throwing lane. Avoid loose clothing that could get caught while throwing. Dress in layers too; it can get a bit warm in there with all the excitement!

Q: Can you reschedule if something comes up?

A: Yes, you can reschedule your axe throwing experience. Just give Urban Axe Throwing a call or message at least 24 hours in advance to avoid any cancellation fees. They’re pretty flexible as long as you notify them ahead of time. Check their website for more details!

Thinking of gifting axe throwing - need tips!

I’m thinking of getting the axe throwing experience at Urban Axe Throwing in Raleigh for my boyfriend’s birthday. He loves trying new things, and I think he’d have a blast! I saw the prices are pretty reasonable and it includes all the gear. Has anyone tried it? What should I know before booking? Any tips for making it even more special?

Just did axe throwing - what a blast!

I finally went axe throwing at Urban Axe Throwing last weekend, and I can’t recommend it enough! The coaches were super chill and made sure we all felt safe. I love how they split us into teams for some games - I actually won a prize for most bullseyes! If you’re on the fence about this experience, just go for it. You won't regret it!
