Thinking of gifting the Backcountry Eats & Foraging Treats experience!

I’m considering this for my sister’s family who’ll be visiting Anchorage next month. It sounds like such a fun way to spend the day! Has anyone done this? How was the hiking difficulty? I know my niece is only 7, but she loves nature. Would she be able to keep up? Also, what’s the best season for this?

Just did the Backcountry Eats & Foraging Treats tour - Amazing!

I took this tour last weekend in Talkeetna and it was awesome! We learned how to forage for wild greens and had a blast cooking everything we found. The guide was super knowledgeable and made it fun for all of us, including my kids. We ended up making some really tasty pizza with the stuff we gathered. Totally recommend it if you’re up for an adventure!
