Join me on a journey through one of San Diego's most iconic places. Since this park is large, we will be touring the major sites with the wind in our hair on electric scooters. No walking required ;) The first stop will be the beautiful botanical building and lily pond where we will pause for some pictures. Next, we will briefly cruise to the entrance to the San Diego Zoo before heading to the Spanish Village Arts Center. We will then scoot to the Morton Bay Fig Tree. It's then time to ride down the iconic El Prado passing fountains & museums along the way. After a quick stop, we will head past the International cottages on our way to the air and space museum. We will wrap up at the Spreckels Organ Pavilion before heading back to where we started. Photos of your adventure are included! If you want to see Balboa park in an efficient & unique way with a local guide, then this is the tour for you! (Tips are not required but are always appreciated :)

Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the electric scooter tour at Balboa Park?

A: Yes, the minimum age is usually around 12 years old, but kids under 18 need to be accompanied by an adult. If you're gifting this to someone younger, you might want to check with the provider about any specific restrictions they might have.

Q: What should I wear for the scooter tour? Is it mostly casual?

A: Casual is definitely the way to go! I'd recommend comfy clothes and closed-toe shoes since you'll be on scooters. Also, a light jacket is good in case it gets breezy while scooting around Balboa Park.

Q: What happens if the weather is bad on the day of the tour? Can we reschedule?

A: If the weather looks bad, you can definitely reschedule! Just contact the provider a day or two in advance, and they'll help you find a new time. They really want you to enjoy the tour without worrying about rain or strong winds.

Thinking of gifting the Balboa Park Electric Scooter Tour - worth it?

I’m considering this as a gift for my dad’s birthday. He loves exploring but isn’t super mobile anymore. The idea of cruising around Balboa Park on a scooter sounds perfect! Has anyone done this? What was your experience like?
