Q&A
A: The best time to go is typically between late November and early February when the eagles are most active nesting and hunting. If you go around that time, you’ll likely see them flying and fishing along the Skagit River. Just make sure to dress warmly, as it can get pretty chilly during those months!
A: There’s no strict age limit, but the tour is generally recommended for kids aged 8 and up. Younger kids might get restless, but it can be a great educational experience for older kids. Just keep in mind that the tour involves some walking and time spent in quiet observation.
A: Definitely dress in layers! You’ll want a good warm coat, gloves, and maybe a hat since it can get pretty cold along the river. Waterproof boots are also a good idea if you plan to walk around near the water. Comfort is key since you’ll be sitting and watching for a while.
