Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids to join the Pearl Harbor battleship tour?

A: There's no strict age limit, but kids should be able to sit through a lengthy tour and documentary without getting restless. I'd say it's best for ages 8 and up, but my 7-year-old loved it too! Just be prepared to explain some of the heavier topics.

Q: What should we wear for the tour? Any tips?

A: Wear comfortable shoes since there's a lot of walking involved, especially on the USS Arizona Memorial. I'd recommend lightweight clothing as it can get hot, plus a hat and sunscreen are a must! If you're going in winter, a light jacket might be needed for the boat ride.

Q: What if it rains on the day of our tour? Can we reschedule?

A: If the weather's really bad, they might postpone the tour. You can usually reschedule easily, but it's best to call customer service as soon as you know. I had to do this once and they were super understanding!

Thinking about gifting the Pearl Harbor battleship tour!

I’ve been looking into this Pearl Harbor battleship tour from Maui for my dad's birthday. He’s super into history and I think he’d love the USS Arizona Memorial part. It sounds like a deep experience and the documentary should hit hard. I'm just a bit worried about how long the tour is since my dad doesn’t like lengthy tours. Anyone have insights on the timing?

Just got back from the Pearl Harbor battleship tour!

OMG, this tour was incredible! The way the guide explained everything made history come alive. The boat ride to the USS Arizona was emotional but so worth it. If anyone's considering it for a gift, just do it! The documentary is really well done. Just make sure to wear comfy shoes!
