Q&A

Q: What do you wear for the USS Arizona Memorial tour? Is it casual or more formal?

A: You can totally go casual for the tour! Light clothing is best since it can get warm in Honolulu. Just remember to wear comfortable shoes since you’ll walk around a bit and there's some outdoor time, especially on the Navy vessel.

Q: Is there an age limit for the tour? I want to take my kids.

A: There’s no strict age limit, but I'd say it's best suited for kids 8 and up since they’ll get more out of the history. Younger kids might not fully appreciate it, but they're welcome! Just be prepared to explain some of the events.

Q: What happens if it rains? Do they cancel the tour?

A: Good question! They usually don’t cancel unless the weather is really bad. Rain is pretty common in Hawaii, so be ready for it! They provide ponchos if needed, plus the history is still amazing, even if it's drizzling.

Just booked the Battleships of WWII tour! What should I expect?

I just booked the Battleships of World War II tour from Waikiki. I’ve always been fascinated by history, especially Pearl Harbor. It sounds so moving to see the USS Arizona Memorial and learn about the sailors who lost their lives. I’m a bit nervous about the boat ride, though—hoping it’s not too rocky! Also, does anyone have tips for the best time of year to go?
