Q&A
A: I’d recommend wearing something comfortable since you’ll be sitting on a boat and walking around the memorial. Closed-toe shoes are a good idea because you'll be on the deck of the ship. Also, consider bringing a hat and sunscreen since it can get pretty sunny out there!
A: There’s no strict age limit, and many families bring kids along. The tour is educational, and I found that my 11-year-old really learned a lot and appreciated the history. Just keep in mind that it can be a long day, so they might get restless if they’re not into history!
A: Rescheduling is pretty straightforward! Just contact Aloha Sunshine Tours at least 48 hours in advance, and they’ll help you find a new date. I had to change our booking last minute and they were super accommodating.

Just did the Pearl Harbor tour! Here’s my experience!
I recently went on the Battleships of WWII tour at Pearl Harbor, and it was incredible! The boat ride to the USS Arizona Memorial was so moving. The documentary they show really makes you feel the weight of history. The guide was super knowledgeable, and you can ask them anything! Definitely worth the trip from the Big Island. Just a heads up, wear comfy shoes because there’s a fair amount of walking!
Thinking of gifting the Pearl Harbor tour to my brother. Worth it?
My brother loves history, especially WWII stuff. I’m considering this tour but not sure if it’s a good gift. I read the reviews and they all seem positive. Has anyone done this tour recently? What’s included? I want to make sure he’ll have a great time!
