Q&A
A: There’s no strict age limit, but I'd say kids 5 and up would get the most out of it. Just keep an eye on them near the fire, of course! They can definitely join in on the fun of making Baumstriezel with you. It's a great family-friendly activity, and the staff are really accommodating.
A: Definitely wear something comfortable! You might get a bit dusty, so I'd suggest old clothes you don’t mind getting a little messy. And wear closed-toe shoes, especially since you’ll be around the fire. A light jacket might help in the evening as it can get a bit cool when the sun goes down.
A: Yes, they’re pretty flexible with rescheduling! Just make sure to reach out to them at least 48 hours in advance. They want to make sure everyone gets to enjoy the class, so they'll do their best to accommodate your new schedule.

Thinking of gifting the Baumkuchen Campfire Baking Class - Thoughts?
Hey everyone! I’m considering gifting the Baumkuchen Campfire Baking Class at Baumkuchen Farm on the Big Island. I love the idea of cooking over a campfire and I'm excited about the whole Baumstriezel process. It sounds like such a romantic experience! Has anyone done it yet? Any tips on how to make it extra special for my partner?
Just did the Baumkuchen Campfire Class – What an experience!
I just got back from the Baumkuchen Campfire Baking Class and wow, it was amazing! The setting felt like a mini botanical garden, and cooking the Baumstriezel over the fire was super fun. We dipped ours in chocolate and it was delicious! Perfect for a date night. Just be ready for some sticky hands! 😂
