Bay fishing trips primarily target tasty sand trout and whiting, but customers will also have opportunities to catch red drum and black drum. Customers can also bring their own gear if they desire, but Captain Murphy’s will not be responsible for it. All persons fishing, ages 17 and older are required to have a valid Texas Saltwater Fishing License. You can easily purchase a fishing license online by going to Texas Parks and Wildlife website and Fishing License

Just got back from an amazing bay fishing trip at South Padre Island!

I took my family out for the Bay Fishing experience and it was a blast! Captain Murphy was super chill and knowledgeable. We caught a bunch of sand trout and even a black drum! The weather was perfect, and they provided all the gear, which was great since we didn't have to lug anything around. If you're thinking of gifting this experience, do it! It's perfect for anyone, even if they're new to fishing.

Thinking about buying the Bay Fishing experience for my dad's birthday!

Has anyone actually done this? I want to surprise him, but not sure if it’s worth it. He loves fishing but hasn’t done it in years. Also, how's the parking situation by the dock? Any tips would be great!
