Enjoy a Morning Beach Yoga or Sunset Yoga session in the most serene setting of the famous Waikiki beach oceanfront- an area for the most stunning sunset oceanfront views as the view of Diamond Head Crater serves as your backdrop.  Our classes are designed to provide visitors with their moment of focused stillness - to truly see and feel what is truly Hawaii.  Away from the hustle and bustle of the Waikiki hotels you'll enjoy a more connecting experience to Hawaii's land and nature as you mindfully watch trees and clouds sway and surfers coast the waves.  Classes are all levels and many visitors take this opportunity to try yoga for the first time. Morning classes tend to be a bit more quiet and calm in the park, so the classes tend to be more of a gentle and relaxing flow while the grand  banyon tree provides a calming shade.  Private beach yoga and yoga hikes also offered at secluded areas of wild nature throughout the island, including nearby Ala Moana and Magic Island.

Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for participating in the Beach Yoga sessions?

A: There’s no strict age limit! Kids can definitely join, but just keep in mind that they should be able to focus for the duration of the class. Some families bring their children along, and it can be a great bonding experience! Also, make sure to pack some water and maybe a snack for them afterward.

Q: What should I wear to the Beach Yoga class? Is it okay to wear a swimsuit?

A: Definitely wear something comfortable! Many people choose to wear yoga pants or shorts, but swimsuits are totally fine too. Just make sure whatever you wear is breathable since it can get warm, especially during the morning sessions. A light cover-up can be useful for after class if you’re planning to hit the beach.

Q: If the weather is bad, do they cancel the classes or reschedule them?

A: They usually assess the weather conditions before the class. If it’s too stormy or unsafe, they’ll cancel and reach out to reschedule. It's always a good idea to check the weather before you go. Plus, the morning sessions can sometimes be less crowded if you’re worried about the weather!

Just did the Beach Yoga in Waikiki and WOW!

I gifted myself a Beach Yoga session in Waikiki, and it was seriously amazing! The view of Diamond Head while doing yoga was breathtaking. The vibe was super chill, and even as a beginner, I felt really comfortable. The instructor was really helpful, too! I totally recommend doing the sunset sessions for a magical experience! Just be ready to be a little sandy afterward.

Thinking about gifting Beach Yoga to my best friend!

I’m really considering getting a Beach Yoga session for my best friend who’s been super stressed lately. I heard it’s really calming and a perfect way to relax! Plus, who wouldn’t want to do yoga on the beach with such a fantastic view? Any insights on the best time to go? I want it to be special!
