Q&A
A: There's no official age limit for this tour, and many families have brought kids along. The walking is relaxed, and the guide keeps it engaging with stories and photo tips that kids usually enjoy. Just make sure your child can handle about 2 hours of walking, and it'll be a great experience for the whole family!
A: Definitely go for casual and comfy! Sneakers are a must since you'll be walking on uneven bricks in Beacon Hill. Layers are a good idea too, as it can get chilly in the shade, especially near the Public Garden. Just be ready for two hours of walking and snapping pics!
A: Yes, you can usually reschedule with PhotoWalks if you give them enough notice—typically at least 24 hours in advance. Just shoot them a quick email or call, and they’re pretty accommodating. Just make sure to check their policy when you book!

Just did the Beacon Hill + Back Bay tour—so worth it!
I went on the PhotoWalks tour last week, and wow, it was amazing. Our guide was super friendly and had loads of fun stories about Beacon Hill's history. Acorn Street was just as picturesque as I'd hoped! Got some great shots near the Swan Boats too. Totally recommend it for anyone who loves a bit of history mixed with photography. The whole 2-hour tour flew by!
Thinking about gifting the walking tour to my parents!
My parents are visiting Boston next month, and I’m considering giving them this walking tour. They love exploring cities but aren’t into super technical photography. Do you think they’ll enjoy it? Also, any tips on where to park?
