Q&A
A: Definitely wear layers because the weather in Sitka can change quickly! A waterproof jacket and some sturdy shoes are a must—especially if you’re going on the trails. It's not overly muddy, but you might encounter some wet spots depending on the season. Just be prepared for anything!
A: The meal is really nice! You get a choice of a sandwich, a shared appetizer, and you can pick between a side salad or chips. Plus, dessert is included, so you won’t leave hungry! They also provide a drink with the meal. Just ask your guide if you have any dietary restrictions—they're super accommodating.
A: Absolutely! Even if you’re not super outdoorsy, the guides make it really enjoyable. They know a lot about the wildlife and history of the area, and they keep the pace easy-going. Plus, the scenery is stunning—you’ll appreciate it even if you don’t hike much. It really feels like a vacation!

Hey everyone! I just got back from the Bear & Forest Trek Tour in Sitka and wow, what an experience! The views were breathtaking, especially at the scenic overlooks. The Fortress of the Bear was super cool—got to see bears up close! The lunch was delicious too, I had a really good sandwich and dessert. Perfect for a gift for someone who loves nature. Highly recommend it!
Thinking of gifting the Bear & Forest Trek Tour—any tips?
I’m considering giving my parents the Bear & Forest Trek Tour for their anniversary. They love wildlife and exploring new places. Is there anything I should know before booking? Any tips on timing or what to prepare?
