Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the Bear Glacier helicopter tour?

A: There's no strict age limit, but kids need to be at least 2 years old to ride. Make sure they can wear the seatbelt and listen to safety instructions. Also, keep in mind that younger kids might not enjoy it as much due to the noise and height!

Q: What should you wear for the helicopter tour?

A: Dress in layers! It can get chilly up there even in the summer. A light jacket or fleece is a good idea, and don't forget sunglasses. Definitely wear closed-toe shoes since you'll be landing near the glacier.

Q: What happens if the weather is bad on the day of the tour?

A: If the weather doesn’t cooperate, they’ll usually reschedule you for another day. Just keep an eye on your emails or give them a call if you're worried about it. They’re pretty flexible and want everyone to have a good experience!

Just did the Bear Glacier helicopter tour—amazing experience!

I went on the Bear Glacier helicopter tour last week and wow, just wow! The views of Kenai Fjords were breathtaking, especially the massive icebergs. Our pilot was super informative and even took us down to a landing spot near the glacier for some pics. Totally worth it! Price was around $300, but I’d say it’s a must-do in Seward!

Thinking about gifting the helicopter tour—any advice?

I’m considering gifting the Bear Glacier helicopter tour to my parents for their anniversary. They love nature and have always wanted to see glaciers up close. Is it good for older folks? Any tips on booking?
