Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this climbing experience? My son is 12 and really wants to try it.

A: Great question! The minimum age for this experience is usually around 12, but it’s best to check with Cultivate Climbing directly. They’ve had kids as young as 12 participate, especially if they're accompanied by an adult. Just make sure your son has some basic fitness and a sense of adventure!

Q: What should we wear for the climbing day? Is there a dress code?

A: You’ll want to wear comfortable, stretchy clothes that you can move in freely. Avoid anything too baggy that could get caught. Athletic shoes are fine, but it's better to use the climbing shoes provided. Don’t forget a light jacket since it can get chilly in the mountains!

Q: Can you reschedule if the weather doesn’t cooperate? I want to make sure this is a good gift!

A: Absolutely! Cultivate Climbing is pretty flexible with rescheduling due to weather. If conditions are looking bad, just reach out to them and you can find a new date that works. They want everyone to have a great experience!

Thinking of gifting the Full Day Multi-Pitch Climbing!

I’m considering giving my partner this full day multi-pitch climbing experience in Asheville for their birthday! They love the outdoors and I know they’d enjoy the views of the Pisgah Forest. Has anyone done this before? What can they expect? How was the instruction?

Just booked the climbing experience and I’m nervous!

I just booked the beautiful multi-pitch climbing experience for next month and I can’t stop thinking about it! I’m kinda nervous since I've never climbed before. Any tips for a first-timer? Also, how do the private groups work?
