Put them together with a little time hanging out on an island sipping cold drinks and munching on some fresh fruit and you will have one of the best days of your life. This is the perfect activity for beginners or experienced snorkelers and paddlers. You don't even need to know how to swim. If you are feeling nervous while snorkeling just stand up. The crystal clear waters around the island are only about waist to chest deep. Plus we'll be there right by your side to teach and make sure you are safe and comfortable while in the water. Of course the best part of snorkeling around the island is all the fish and wildlife you can see. Since the island is so close to a direct ocean inlet you can and will see many of the fish here that you would see out on the reef.

Q: Is there an age limit for this snorkeling experience?

A: There’s no strict age limit, but I’d recommend it for kids over 6. They just need to be comfortable in the water, since you can stand and be safe while snorkeling. My 8-year-old had a blast, and the instructors were super patient!

Q: What if the weather is bad on the day of the experience?

A: If the weather is bad, they usually give you the option to reschedule. Just keep an eye on your email for updates or call them the day before to confirm. They’re pretty flexible and want everyone to have a great time!

Q: What do I wear for the snorkeling part?

A: You’ll want to wear a swimsuit for sure, and maybe a rash guard if you burn easily. Water shoes can also be helpful for walking on the beach. And don’t forget sunscreen—reef-safe, of course!

Just did the Beginner Friendly Island Snorkeling and it was AMAZING!

I took the Beginner Friendly Island Snorkeling trip last weekend in Miami, and wow! The water was crystal clear, and the wildlife was incredible. We saw so many colorful fish just a few feet away! The instructors were super friendly and made me feel safe the whole time. Perfect for those of us who aren’t great swimmers! This would make a great gift for my sister’s birthday coming up. Highly recommend!
