Our Surf Lessons are designed to be as Safe, Fun and Successful as possible for you. Surfing is our passion and we love to share it with the world. The main thing that differs us in the area is having spent the most time out in the ocean and learning the waves we operate at. Surfing is fun but can get really dangerous really fast and being with an instructor who dedicates there life to this compared to someone who does it part time, for fun could be the difference of getting hurt or just not having a great first experience. We are also all CPR / AED Certified We also strive to be a Highlight of your time in Hawaii. We are very proud to live here and we want to share it with you through Surfing. We know not everyone can go surfing everyday but we encourage everyone to go again every chance you get in the future and if you can surf back home, we hope we are the start of that journey! Q: Are there any age limits for the surf lesson? Can kids join?

A: Yes! Kids as young as 7 can join the beginner surf lessons, which is great for families. Just make sure they’re comfortable in the water and can follow instructions. It’s all about having fun while staying safe! The instructors are really great with kids too, so no worries there.

Q: What should we wear for the surf lesson? Is a swimsuit enough?

A: A swimsuit is definitely a must! The instructors do provide rash guards, which helps with sun protection and any board rash. I’d recommend wearing some water shoes if you’re worried about sharp rocks, but other than that, just bring a towel and your sunscreen!

Q: What if the weather is bad? Do they reschedule lessons?

A: Absolutely! Safety comes first, so if the weather isn’t cooperating, they’ll reschedule you for another day. They’re pretty flexible and will work with you to find a time that fits your schedule. Just keep an eye on the forecast before your trip!

Just booked a beginner surf lesson in Haleiwa, any tips?

I just bought a beginner surf lesson at North Shore Haleiwa for my partner's birthday! We’re visiting Oahu next month, and I can't wait. I saw they include a surfboard and even a chance to see Hawaiian green sea turtles! Do you think I should bring anything special or prepare for the lesson? Anyone have experiences to share?

What a blast! Just had my first surf lesson!

I did the beginner surf lesson at North Shore Haleiwa last week, and it was incredible! It was my first time surfing, and the instructors are so friendly and helpful. I even saw a turtle while out there! Totally recommend it for anyone visiting. Just be ready to fall a lot and have fun!
