Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids to join this factory tour?

A: There's no strict age limit, but I’d say kids around 10 and up would get the most out of it. The tour involves a lot of detail about the crafting process that might be too complex for younger kids. Just keep in mind the tour lasts a bit, so older kids who can sit through it would be best.

Q: What should I wear for the factory tour? Is it casual or dressy?

A: Wear something casual and comfortable! You’ll be walking around the factory, so closed-toe shoes are a good idea. No need to dress up since it’s a factory tour, but I’d avoid anything too fancy or delicate in case you get close to some equipment or materials.

Q: Can I reschedule the tour if something comes up?

A: Yes, you can reschedule! Just make sure to contact their customer service a few days in advance. They’re pretty flexible as long as they have available spots for the new date. Just worth checking the cancellation policy first to avoid any last-minute hiccups.

Thinking about gifting the M&S Schmalberg Flowers tour – worth it?

I'm considering getting the Behind The Scenes Factory Tour at M&S Schmalberg Flowers for my mom’s birthday. She’s a huge fan of floral design and fashion. I read that the tour goes through their factory in NYC's Garment District. Is it really hands-on? What was the best part for you if you went?

Just did the M&S tour, and wow!

I just got back from the Behind The Scenes tour at M&S Schmalberg, and I can’t recommend it enough! The showroom is amazing, and seeing how they make custom fabric flowers was super cool. I even learned about the history of the company. It’s a great experience if you're into fashion or design!
