Q&A
A: There’s no specific age limit for kids at Belmont Mansion, so they’re welcome! Just remember it’s mostly a historical tour, so younger kids might not find it super engaging unless they’re into history. However, it could be really educational for older kids. Plus, it's free for under 6!
A: You don’t need to book in advance! You can just show up during their regular hours. However, it’s good to get there early for the introduction session since it kicks off the tour. The guides are super helpful if you have any questions while exploring.
A: It’s mostly indoors, but you might want to check out the grounds outside too. Comfy shoes are a must since you'll be walking around. I recommend wearing layers because the mansion can get a bit chilly inside. Just keep an eye on the weather if you're planning to stroll the gardens!

Planning to gift Belmont Mansion tickets - any tips?
Hey everyone! I’m thinking about getting Belmont Mansion general admission tickets for my history-loving sister’s birthday. I read that they offer a self-guided tour, which is cool since she can take her time. Does anyone have experiences with the guides? Also, is there anything specific she should look out for while exploring? Thanks!
Just visited the Belmont Mansion - it was awesome!
I just got back from Belmont Mansion, and wow! The self-guided tour lets you really soak it all in. The intro from the interpreter was really helpful, and the historical artifacts are incredible. I loved the section about the laborers; it added so much depth to the experience. Highly recommend it to anyone in Nashville looking for some history!
