Q&A
A: Nope, there’s no strict age limit for kids on the night tour! Families often bring their kids, and it can be a fun experience for all ages. Just keep in mind that the bus can get a little chilly at night, so dress them warmly if you’re going in the fall or winter.
A: The pickup location for the Big Bus tours is at the Washington Monument. You can easily get there via the Metro; the Smithsonian station is just a short walk away. If you're driving, there are some street parking options but I'd recommend rideshare or Metro to avoid the hassle!
A: Yes, you can reschedule your tour! Just make sure to contact Big Bus customer service at least 24 hours in advance to change your booking. It’s pretty flexible, which is great for unexpected plans.

Just did the night tour and it was AMAZING!
I went on the Best of DC night tour last week and it blew my mind! Seeing the monuments lit up was just so beautiful, especially the Lincoln Memorial and the Iwo Jima Memorial. The bus was nice and open-top, which made it feel super special. We also did the hop-on hop-off tour during the day, which helped us plan our stops perfectly. Highly recommend it as a gift for anyone visiting DC!
Thinking about gifting this experience!
I’m considering giving my parents the Best of DC tour package for their anniversary. They love exploring new places but are in their 60s. Do you think it’s suitable for them? Any tips for making it more enjoyable?
