Q&A
A: There’s no specific age limit for the tour, but it's recommended for kids 5 and up since they might enjoy the wildlife spotting more. Just a heads up, younger kids might find it a bit long, but the guides are super accommodating! Just make sure they’re dressed warm since it can get chilly.
A: Winter is actually the best time for this tour! The wildlife is more concentrated in the valley, and you can see all sorts of animals like elk and bison. Plus, the snow-covered landscape is stunning. If you're looking for more of that winter wonderland vibe, go around December to February.
A: The sleigh ride is a fantastic addition, but it is dependent on the conditions. If there’s not enough snow, they won’t run it. The guides will let you know beforehand if it's available, but you can still enjoy the wildlife viewing either way. Always a good idea to check the weather a few days before your tour!

Just did the Best of Jackson Hole Wildlife Safari Tour, and wow!
I went on the wildlife safari last week, and it was a blast! We saw a ton of elk, some moose, and even a few eagles. The guides are super knowledgeable, and they provided binoculars, which made spotting the wildlife so much easier. We had lunch at a cute local place afterward—definitely try the bison burger! The sleigh ride was a highlight, but it was so cold! Dress warmly! Overall, highly recommend this for any nature lover!
Thinking about gifting this wildlife tour for my partner’s birthday.
I’m considering getting the Best of Jackson Hole Wildlife Safari for my partner's birthday. He loves seeing wildlife and being outdoors but has never done a guided tour like this. Is it worth it? I’ve heard the guides are great, but are there any downsides? Would love to hear from anyone who's been!
