Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit, but they recommend at least 8 years old for the hike to keep up with the group and enjoy the experience. My 10-year-old loved it and had no issues! Just keep in mind the terrain varies, so be prepared for some ups and downs.
A: Definitely dress in layers! The weather can change quickly on the mountain. Wear comfortable shoes for hiking, and bring a rain jacket just in case. They provide warm clothing if you need it, which is super helpful. I went in early spring, and it was chilly but beautiful!
A: Yes, you can reschedule! Just make sure to give them a call or send an email at least 48 hours in advance. They’re pretty flexible as long as you notify them in time. We had to shift our date last minute, and they were super accommodating!

Thinking of gifting the Mount Rainier tour, any thoughts?
I’m planning to surprise my partner with this small group tour to Mount Rainier. It sounds amazing to have a local guide who knows the area so well. The picnic lunch from a female-owned caterer is such a nice touch! I’m a little nervous about whether it will be too strenuous for us, though. Any advice?
Anyone tried the Mount Rainier tour yet?
Just got back from the Mount Rainier tour with Evergreen Escapes, and wow! The views are out of this world, and our guide was super knowledgeable. They even provided snowshoes, which was really fun during the winter. I can’t recommend this enough if you’re in Seattle looking for a unique experience.
