Your experience begins with a narrated walk before boarding the Falls Incline Railway for a scenic descent to the iconic Table Rock Centre. (Seasonal: Not operational from November - April) From there, enjoy a short walk along the Niagara Parkway with views of the Old Scow Wreckage, Toronto Power Generating Station, and the raging rapids of the upper Niagara River. Then, take the Niagara City Cruises Boat ride for an up-close look at the falls, at which point your tour will come to a close and you and your guide will part ways. On your cruise, you will sail around the Niagara gorge and get as close as possible to the Falls.

Q&A

Q: What's the best time of year to do this tour? Is it worth going in the off-season?

A: The best time is definitely late spring to early fall when the weather is mild and the boat rides are operating. In the off-season (November - April), the Incline Railway and the boat portion are closed, so you’d miss out on the main attractions. If you can go between May and October, you’ll have the full experience with the Niagara City Cruises, which is a must-see up close!

Q: Are there age limits for kids on this tour? Is it kid-friendly?

A: This tour is great for families! There aren't strict age limits, but younger kids might need to be supervised closely, especially on the boat. There’s so much to see, and kids usually love the close-up views of the falls. Just keep in mind that it can be a bit loud and wet, so ponchos are a good idea!

Q: How do you get from the parking area to the tour start point? Is parking easy?

A: Parking can be tricky during peak season. There’s a lot near Table Rock Centre, but it fills up fast. I recommend arriving early or checking out some of the nearby street parking options. From there, it’s a short walk to the Incline Railway where the tour begins. Just follow the signs—super easy!

Thinking of gifting the Niagara Falls Tour—any tips?

I’m considering getting this Niagara Falls Best of Canada Tour for my parents’ anniversary. They love nature and have never seen the falls up close! I’m wondering about the boat ride part—how wet do you really get? And should I add the Journey Behind the Falls option? Any advice would be great!

Just got back from the Niagara Falls Tour—amazing experience!

I did the Best of Niagara Falls tour last month and wow, it was incredible! The Incline Railway was so scenic, and getting up close on the boat was unreal. You really feel the power of the falls. I went in August, so the weather was perfect—no rain, just a little mist from the falls. Highly recommend this as a gift for anyone who loves outdoor adventures!
