Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on this tour?

A: There's no strict age limit, but the tour is best suited for kids aged 8 and up since some hikes can be a bit challenging. Just be sure they can handle a full day outdoors since it can be a lot of walking. Some families bring younger kids, but it really depends on their comfort and endurance. They can provide kid-friendly options for lunch!

Q: What should we wear for this tour, especially in winter?

A: Dress in layers! It can get chilly, especially near the lakes and during hikes. I’d recommend a moisture-wicking base layer, a warm fleece or sweater, and a waterproof jacket. If you're snowshoeing, wear warm socks and sturdy shoes. Don't forget gloves and a hat! They provide extra gear if you need it.

Q: What happens if the weather is bad on the tour day?

A: If the weather is truly bad, they’re great about rescheduling or offering a refund. But usually, they adapt the itinerary to make it work. The guides are pros at finding alternative spots that are still pretty awesome even in less-than-ideal conditions. Just keep an eye on your email as they might contact you the night before!

Just got back from the Olympic National Park tour - AMAZING!

I recently took the 'Best of Olympic National Park' tour with Evergreen Escapes, and wow, what a day! Our guide, Jason, was super knowledgeable and made the whole experience really enjoyable. We visited Lake Crescent and did a beautiful hike to a waterfall that I will never forget. The organic lunch was so fresh, and picnicking surrounded by nature was the highlight! If you love the outdoors, this is a must-do!

Thinking of gifting the Olympic tour - any tips?

I’m considering this tour as a gift for my partner’s birthday. They love nature and hiking! What should I know before booking? I read that they customize the trips based on the group, which is cool. Just want to make sure it’s worth it and what to expect for lunch since they mention it’s included. Also, can we bring our dog? We don’t wanna leave her behind!
