Q: What's the age limit for kids on this tour? Thinking of bringing my 10-year-old.

A: There's no strict age limit! Kids are welcome on the tour, and a lot of families bring their younger ones. Just keep in mind that it can be a long day, so make sure your 10-year-old is up for it. If they're into nature and animals, they’ll love the Alaska Raptor Center and Fortress of the Bear!

Q: Is there a flexible rescheduling policy? I might need to change the date.

A: Yes! Cpt.Gary’s Sitka Adventures offers a flexible rescheduling policy. If you find you need to change your date, just reach out to them, and they’ll work with you to find a new spot that fits. I had to reschedule once, and it was super easy!

Q: What should we wear? Is it cold in Sitka during the summer?

A: Definitely dress in layers! Sitka can be unpredictable, even in summer. Mornings are chilly, but it can warm up during the day. A waterproof jacket is a good idea, too, just in case. Also, wear comfortable shoes since you’ll be walking in Sitka National Historical Park!

Had the Best Day on the Sitka Land Tour!

Just got back from the tour! It was amazing! The guides were super friendly and shared tons of cool stories about Sitka. Seeing the rescued bears was a highlight. The park was beautiful too—the totem poles are stunning! Highly recommend this for anyone visiting, especially if you're into nature and wildlife!
