Q&A
A: The best time to take this tour is during late spring to early fall, like May to September. That’s when the weather is milder and the wildlife is most active. Plus, you’ll see the park in full bloom, especially the flowers around Old Faithful and the Grand Prismatic Spring. Just be ready for some crowds in July and August!
A: No age limits, but kids 6 and up are usually the best fit for this full-day tour. It can be a lot for younger ones, especially if they get tired or restless. The guides are great with kids though, and they often have fun learning experiences planned!
A: Definitely dress casual and for the weather! Layers are key, since it can get chilly in the morning and warm up during the day. Good walking shoes are a must because you'll be on some trails and boardwalks. Also, don’t forget a hat and sunscreen!

Just got back from the Yellowstone tour - WOW!
I recently went on the Best of Yellowstone tour from Gardiner and it was AMAZING! Our guide was super knowledgeable and we saw Old Faithful erupt, the Grand Prismatic Spring, and even some bison! The picnic lunch was surprisingly good, too. Just a heads up, it’s a long day, so be prepared to be out and about from early morning to late afternoon.
Considering this tour as a gift - any thoughts?
I’m thinking about getting this Yellowstone tour for my parents. They love nature but have never been to Yellowstone. Is it worth it? Are the views really as stunning as everyone says? I want them to have a memorable experience.
