Our vessel "Hokulani" is a beautiful and spacious custom built sailing trimaran specifically designed for a comfortable ride in Hawaiian waters. What makes Hokulani unique from every other tour boat operating in Waikiki, is that she was designed with three separate hulls to provide an exceptionally smooth, fast, and stable ride even when conditions get rough. At 41 feet long, and 26 feet wide, her deck provides almost 1,000 square feet of room to move about on, while her open concept provides unobstructed open air views from almost anywhere on board. With 2 netted seating areas, 5 separate bench seating areas, and one extremely comfortable shaded lounge area that our crew affectionately refers to as "the nook", you'll always have access to a comfortable seat to enjoy a wonderful view from.

Q&A

Q: Are there any age limits for participating in the BYOB sunset cruise?

A: There’s no specific age limit for the sunset cruise, but keep in mind that minors must be accompanied by an adult. It's a great experience for families, couples, or friends, but make sure to supervise the kiddos while swimming. The crew is super friendly and accommodating!

Q: What happens if the weather is bad on the day of the cruise?

A: If the weather doesn't cooperate, Three Tiki Sailing will usually contact you to reschedule. They prioritize safety, so it's best to be flexible. Just keep an eye on the forecast and be ready to change plans if needed, but the views are definitely worth it when the sun's out!

Q: What should I wear for the sunset sail, and do we need to bring anything special?

A: Wear something comfortable, like swimwear or a light cover-up. Flip-flops are great too! You might want to bring a light sweater for after the sun goes down. Don't forget your drinks; just avoid glass bottles. The crew provides ice, so you can keep your beverages cold!

Looking to book the Waikiki Sunset Cruise for my boyfriend's birthday!

Hey everyone! I'm considering booking the BYOB sunset sail on the Hokulani for my boyfriend's birthday this month. I love that it's BYOB, so we can bring his favorite craft beers. I've heard the views are amazing and the swimming is a blast, but what's it really like? Any tips or advice would be super helpful! Thanks!

Just did the sunset cruise, and wow!

OMG, the Hokulani sunset cruise was everything I hoped for! The boat is super spacious, and the crew was fantastic. We swam in the ocean as the sun was setting, and it was magical. I recommend bringing some snacks too! The only downside was that the water got a little choppy towards the end, but it just added to the adventure. Can’t wait to do it again!
