Q&A
A: There isn't a strict weight limit, but the trimaran is designed to accommodate a good number of passengers comfortably. Just make sure to check with the crew when booking if you have any specific concerns. They’re really helpful and can guide you on what to expect.
A: The best time is from December to April when humpback whales migrate to Hawaii. They’re super active during this time, and you have a high chance of seeing them! Just keep in mind that trips can fill up quickly so booking in advance is smart.
A: Absolutely! Kids are more than welcome, and there’s no specific age limit. Just make sure they can handle being on a boat for a couple of hours. It’s a great learning experience for them, too, with all the interesting info the crew shares.

Amazing Whale Watching Experience in Waikiki!
Just got back from the whale watching tour with Three Tiki Sailing, and it was awesome! We saw at least 5 humpback whales breaching and even a mama with her calf! The crew was super informative and made it really fun. The trimaran had plenty of space and shade, which was a plus since it was sunny. I went with friends, but I think this would make a fantastic gift for my family! Anyone else have recommendations for making the most of this experience?
Considering gifting the whale watching tour – need some input!
Thinking about getting this whale watching experience for my parents who are visiting soon. They’ve never been to Hawaii and I want to make it special. I heard it’s guaranteed sightings, which is cool! How’s the best way to prepare for the trip? What should they wear or bring?
