Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit! Amber is great about making the hike kid-friendly, so as long as your kids enjoy nature and can walk a bit, they should be fine. Just bring some snacks and maybe a small backpack for them to carry. The trails are beautiful, and kids usually love the wild berries!
A: Dress in layers! Mornings can be chilly, so a lightweight jacket is great. I suggest wearing comfortable hiking boots because the trail can get a bit rocky. And don't forget to wear clothes that can get a little dirty from the trail - you might want to try those wild berries!
A: Parking is pretty straightforward! There’s usually a designated parking area at the trailhead. I recommend getting there early, especially on weekends, as it can fill up fast during the fall colors. Amber will give you all the details in advance, so you'll know exactly where to go.

Thinking about gifting the Big Bear Fall Colors Hiking Tour!
I’m planning to surprise my partner with the Big Bear Fall Colors Hiking Tour. We both love nature and fall colors, and I think this is perfect! I just hope the weather cooperates. I read Amber makes it fun and even incorporates local wild berries. Has anyone done this yet? What should I expect?
Just got back from the Big Bear hiking tour, and WOW!
I just did the Big Bear Fall Colors Hiking Tour last weekend, and it exceeded my expectations! The foliage was breathtaking, especially under those orange and yellow oaks. Amber was super knowledgeable and made the hike so enjoyable. Plus, we found some wild berries! Highly recommend this for anyone who loves the outdoors!
