Q&A
A: Yes, kids are welcome! There’s no strict age limit, but children must be at least 36 inches tall to safely enjoy the submarine. It’s a great experience for families, and we saw lots of kids having a blast. Just keep in mind that younger kids might need some assistance during the dive.
A: Great question! You don't need to wear anything special—just comfortable beach attire is fine. The submarine is climate-controlled, so it won’t be cold at all. Bring a light jacket if you’re taking the shuttle boat, as it may get breezy on the way to the dive site.
A: If the weather isn’t cooperating, Atlantis Submarines will contact you to reschedule. They’re really good about keeping you informed. You can get a full refund or a chance to rebook. Just make sure to check your email before your dive!

Just did the Atlantis Submarine dive in Kona—what an experience!
I just got back from the Atlantis Submarine tour and wow, it was incredible! We dove 100 feet down and saw so many fish—like barracuda and parrot fish! The coral reef was beautiful and the narration really added to the experience. The shuttle boat ride was fun too, great views of the coastline. Totally worth it! I would recommend this as a gift for anyone who loves marine life.
Looking to gift the Atlantis Submarine experience—any tips?
I’m thinking of gifting the Atlantis Submarine experience for my mom’s birthday. She loves the ocean but has never been in a submarine! Is there anything I should know before I book? Like how early do I need to reserve? Also, is there parking available near the shuttle?
