Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit, but younger kids might get bored during the coffee roasting part. It's super hands-on, so toddlers can come along, but I'd recommend bringing kids aged 7 and up for the best experience. They’ll love the UTV ride and planting their own coffee tree!
A: Definitely wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty! The farm can be muddy, especially after rain. Closed-toe shoes are a must, and I'd suggest a hat and sunscreen since you'll be outside quite a bit. Layers are good too since it can be warm but gets cooler on the ride.
A: Yes, you can reschedule! Just make sure to give them a heads-up at least 48 hours in advance. They’re pretty flexible and want you to have a good experience. Just check their policy when you book.

Just did the Big Island Epic Coffee Tour and it was amazing!!
Wow, I just got back from the Big Island Epic Coffee Tour at Ohana Ranch, and I can't recommend it enough! The UTV ride through the coffee fields was awesome, and our guide was super knowledgeable. We got to roast our own coffee and even bag it up to take home. My favorite part was planting my own coffee tree! Just a heads-up, wear shoes you don’t mind getting dirty. It's a laid-back vibe, perfect for coffee lovers. Such a unique experience!
Thinking about gifting the coffee tour experience!
I’m considering the Big Island Epic Coffee Tour as a gift for my husband’s birthday. He loves coffee and outdoor activities. I’m just a bit worried about the weather, though. Do they have rain dates or something? Would love to hear anyone’s thoughts on this!
