Q&A
A: This tour is generally suitable for all ages, including little ones! Just keep in mind that the day can be long, and they might get tired. If you’re worried about your 5-year-old, consider bringing a small backpack with snacks or their favorite toy to keep them engaged. The guide is great with families and the luxury van has comfy seating for everyone.
A: If the weather doesn’t cooperate, Ohana Tours will usually contact you ahead of time to discuss rescheduling options. They’re pretty flexible, and there’s often a backup plan for rainy days. Just keep an eye on your email after booking for updates!
A: Casual and comfy is the way to go! Think shorts or lightweight pants, and a breathable shirt since you’ll be out and about. Definitely bring a light jacket for the cooler areas, especially near Volcanoes National Park. Don't forget good walking shoes! Flip-flops might not cut it for some of the trails.

Just did the Big Island in a Day tour and WOW!
I recently took the Big Island in a Day tour and it was incredible! We saw Volcanoes National Park, Akaka Falls, and those breathtaking black sand beaches. The guide was super knowledgeable about Hawaiian culture and history, which made everything even better. If you go, definitely try to sit near the front of the van for the best views. Lunch was pretty good too! Has anyone else experienced this tour? Any tips?
Thinking of gifting the Big Island tour, any advice?
I'm looking at getting this Big Island in a Day tour for my parents for their anniversary. They love nature and have never been to Hawaii! Just want to know if it's worth it or if there's anything I should know before I book. Price seems good since it includes lunch and snacks, but I worry they might find it too long. Thoughts?
