Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit, but kids should be at least 8 years old to participate comfortably. Plus, they need to be able to swim well since it’s in open water. It's a great experience for families, but keep in mind that younger children might get scared or tired in the dark.
A: Definitely wear a swimsuit and bring a light layer, like a rash guard or light jacket. The water's warm, but it can get a little chilly when you're in it at night. Also, don’t forget a towel for afterwards and maybe a pair of water shoes if you're sensitive about your feet!
A: Good news! They have a Manta Guarantee. If you don't see any manta rays, you can rebook for free until you do, but it’s subject to availability. Just make sure you book your experience directly with them to take advantage of this offer.

Just booked the Manta Ray Night Snorkel! Any tips?
Hey everyone! I just booked the Manta Ray Night Snorkel Adventure for my partner’s birthday while we’re on Big Island! I’m super excited but also a bit nervous about snorkeling at night. What should we expect? Any tips for first-timers? I saw it’s a small group, which is nice! Looking for advice!
Manta Ray Night Snorkel recap!
OMG, I just did the Manta Ray Night Snorkel Tour last week and it was amazing! We saw like five manta rays swimming around us. The lights they use really attracted them. And the crew was super cool. Seriously, if you’re on the Big Island, don’t miss this! Just be prepared for a bit of a chill when you first get in the water. Worth every penny!
