Q&A

Q: Can anyone share how difficult the trails are? I'm not a pro biker.

A: The trails are designed to be accessible for various skill levels, so even if you're not a pro, you should be fine! The guides are great at adjusting the pace and difficulty based on the group's needs. Just remember, there are some uphill sections, but the views and waterfalls make it totally worth it!

Q: What should I wear for this mountain biking experience? Any specific gear needed?

A: Definitely wear comfortable athletic clothing that you don't mind getting dirty. Closed-toe shoes are a must, and consider bringing a light jacket since it can get cooler in the Kohala Mountains. They provide helmets, but you might want to bring your own if you have one that fits well.

Q: Is it easy to reschedule if something comes up? I want to gift it, but you know how plans can change!

A: Yes! The company is pretty flexible with rescheduling. Just reach out to them a few days in advance if you need to make a change. They understand that life happens, especially with travel plans.

Thinking about gifting the Big Island Mountain Biking experience!

I’m considering this for my brother's birthday! He loves biking but hasn’t done much mountain biking. The idea of riding through 100 acres and seeing a waterfall sounds epic! Just wondering if it’d be too tough for a beginner or if they'd cater to different skill levels. Anyone have tips?

Just did the Big Island Mountain Biking tour - WOW!

I went on this mountain biking tour last week and it was amazing! Riding those custom trails was such a thrill, and we actually visited this gorgeous waterfall. The guide was so knowledgeable about the island's history, which added an awesome layer to the ride. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Waimea!
