Q&A

Q: Can you reschedule the tour if something comes up?

A: Yes, you can usually reschedule your tour by contacting Island Odyssey Tours. Just make sure to do it at least 48 hours in advance to avoid any cancellation fees. They’re pretty flexible, but it’s always best to double-check their policy directly.

Q: What should I wear for the Big Island tour?

A: I'd recommend wearing light, breathable clothing since it can get hot on the tour. Definitely bring a hat and sunglasses, and don’t forget sunscreen! Comfortable shoes are a must for walking around the historical sites.

Q: Is this tour suitable for young kids?

A: Absolutely! The tour is family-friendly and kids typically enjoy all the cultural experiences, especially the coffee and honey tasting. Just keep in mind that some activities may not hold their interest for the entire duration, but overall it’s a great experience for families.

Just booked the South Kona Historical Day Tour for my parents!

I’m so excited! My parents love history and Hawaiian culture, so I think this tour will be perfect for them. I heard the lunch is a traditional Luau style, which they’ll really enjoy. Can’t wait to hear about their coffee farm experience too! Anyone have tips for making the most of the day?

Just came back from the Big Island tour, and wow!

This tour exceeded my expectations. The coffee farm was super interesting, and I loved the Painted Church. Definitely worth it for the lunch alone! The guides were friendly and shared a lot of great stories about the area. Highly recommend it!
