Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on this tour?

A: There’s no strict age limit, but it's best suited for kids 5 and up. The tour involves some walking and may have spots that aren't kid-friendly, but younger kids are welcome if you think they can handle it. Just bring a stroller if needed for little ones. Overall, it’s a great family experience!

Q: What should we wear for the Big Sur tour? Is it chilly up there?

A: Definitely dress in layers! It can get windy and chilly up on those cliffs, even in summer. A light jacket and comfortable shoes are a must. Also, a hat and sunscreen are good ideas since you’ll be outside quite a bit. Enjoy the breathtaking views!

Q: What’s the parking situation like at the start of the tour?

A: Parking can be a bit tricky, especially on weekends or holidays. There’s usually a small lot at the meeting point, but I suggest arriving early. If it’s full, you might find street parking nearby. Just keep an eye on time to make sure you don’t miss the tour!

Thinking of gifting the Big Sur Sightseeing Tour – thoughts?

I'm considering this Big Sur tour for my parents' anniversary. They've always wanted to see the coast and I think this would be perfect since it includes a nature walk through the redwoods and that iconic bridge stop! Plus, I love that there’s a local guide. Has anyone done this? How was it?

Just got back from the Big Sur Tour!

Wow, just got back from the Big Sur Sightseeing Tour and it was amazing! The views from the top of the highway were breathtaking. The guide was super knowledgeable and friendly. My favorite part was definitely the walk through the redwoods. If you're considering it, just go for it! It’s worth every penny!
