Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit, but kids should be able to handle a moderate hike. The guide will tailor the experience, so if you have younger kids, just let them know in advance. Families often take their kids as long as they are comfortable walking for a couple of hours. Just check the weather and pack some snacks!
A: Wear comfortable hiking shoes and dress in layers, as it can get chilly in the morning and warmer later on. The hike is moderate, with some elevation, so it's not too intense. Just bring water and maybe a light jacket. They provide a BBQ, so you can chill after the hike!
A: You don’t have to worry about parking! The provider handles transportation, which means you’ll be picked up and dropped off, taking away all the stress of finding a spot. They secure all the park reservations, so you can just focus on enjoying the adventure!

Just did the Big Trees Hike & Cookout, and WOW!
I just got back from the Big Trees Hike & Riverside Cookout Adventure in Yosemite! It was amazing. Our guide was super knowledgeable and made the hike really fun. We saw some gigantic Sequoias up close, and the views were breathtaking. The BBQ by the river afterward was the cherry on top! Highly recommend this for anyone who loves nature and wants a memorable day. Just don’t forget your camera!
Considering this hike as a gift for my dad!
I'm thinking about getting this Big Trees Hike & Riverside Cookout for my dad's birthday. He loves the outdoors but hasn't hiked in a while. Is this suitable for someone who's a bit out of shape? How long do you hike for usually?
