It's all about the bike ride! We spend more time riding in the neighborhoods Portlanders love, & always stopping to smell the roses. Start in the inner Eastside at 833 SE Main #124, where we will safely fit you for a bike and helmet, ready for a sweet 7-11 mile ride through a pretty residential neighborhood, to our favorite rose garden, into an art-heavy industrial district, across the sexy Tilikum Bridge, and onto Portland's waterfront. From there, it's a trip along the edge of downtown and more stories, before we head over another bridge back to our shop! Check out our new two-hour option! Easy riding, little hills, 5-8 miles. You'll visit most of the city's quadrants, ride over two bridges, and along the Willamette River. We'll visit almost-secret beaches, read poetry written in sidewalks and rocks, see public art of every shape, color and texture. And have you tried some of the city's best doughnuts or ice cream? We’ll tell you our favorites! Bikes, helmets and water provided.

Q&A

Q: How difficult is the biking experience? Is it suitable for casual riders?

A: It's pretty beginner-friendly! The ride is mostly easy with just a few gentle hills. Perfect for casual bikers or anyone who hasn’t ridden in a while. The pace is relaxed, and the guides are awesome at making sure everyone’s comfortable.

Q: What if it rains? Do we get rescheduled or refunded?

A: If the weather's looking rough, they usually reach out to reschedule. I checked with them and they’re pretty flexible about finding a new date that works for you. As for refunds, it seems like they typically only do that if you can’t reschedule at all.

Q: What should I wear for the bike tour? Any specific recommendations?

A: Comfort is key! Wear breathable clothing. I’d suggest shorts or leggings and a t-shirt. Also, sneakers are a must for biking. Don’t forget sunscreen and maybe a light jacket if it’s chilly out!

Just did the Bike Around Portland tour - what an experience!

I just got back from the Bike Around Portland tour and it was so much fun! We rode through neighborhoods I had never seen, and the Tilikum Bridge was breathtaking. Plus, the guide shared lots of cool art and poetry spots. The best part? Stopping at the rose garden and the donuts were to die for! Definitely recommend this as a gift for anyone who loves biking or exploring. It was around 7 miles in total, super chill ride.

Thinking of gifting the Bike Around Portland experience, but unsure!

I’m looking for a unique gift for my boyfriend, and this bike tour looks super cool. He loves art and exploring new places. Is it fun enough for someone who’s not super into biking? Also, what’s the vibe like? I want it to be a great day out!
